Dr. Ellis is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with over 15 years of experience treating hip conditions and trauma injuries. He came to Orthopedic One from The Ohio State University, where he was a faculty member and the vice chairman for orthopaedics from 2007-2014. His practice is limited to hip pain in the young adult (<50 years old), and he has developed expertise in the treatment of hip labral tears, femoroacetabular impingement, snapping hip, hip dysplasia, hip arthritis, and avascular necrosis. He has extensive experience in hip arthroscopy for labral tears/femoroacetabular impingement, as well as the Ganz periacetabular osteotomy for hip dysplasia, femoral osteotomies and hip replacement. He provides comprehensive care for the younger patient with hip pain.
